To mix a bit , something I found last night , is it a folded over Rim Fin , rim Cud or Cud ?.

Doesn't look like a Cud to me (and doesn't seem to be listed on cuds-on-coins), but it seems quite large to be a Rim Fin. I'm interested to see others' thoughts, but guess that it is struck through copper foil.

Thanks Spence , I didn't think on "struck through a copper foil " , it could be .

IMO since the border of the rim is still visible that would rule out a Cud, making me agree with Spence.

I'm thinking fold over Rim Fin - maybe it looks large is because it got 'smooshed' and elongated during the strike.
