How Much Would It Be To Slab My 2019-S Enhanced Reverse Proof ASE?

A separate topic here on CCF made me think of the 2019-S ERP ASE that's been sitting in my safe for over 5 years now.

A few details:
Yes, I was lucky enough to be able to place an order for the 2019-S ERP ASE upon its release and receive it.
It is still in the unopened/sealed shipping box. (!)
I do not have a membership/subscription to any TPG company, and this would probably be a one-time thing.

Questions:
Which TPG would be best for this? I don't typically collect slabs, however my Ike slabbed dollar collection is primarily in PCGS, so I would probably lean that direction.
Should I get the CoA slabbed too? Is that even a possibility? IIRC it is serially numbered, and comes with a chance of having Mercanti's autograph. I assume they'd be slabbed separately, how would they tie the two together?

With all that said, approximately how much would it be to have it slabbed and to have the OGP sent back to me along with the slabbed coin/CoA? I have no intention of selling this unless it's in the 5 figure range.

I realize this is a complicated question with many potential solutions/options.

Or should I just open the box and enjoy the coin?

Thanks in advance for the input.

At the current price, it's really only worth stabbing if you can guarantee a 70. The OGP and 69's are selling within a small percentage of each other. I would not slab the certificate unless it's a low number (under 100)

I have 2 2019 S ERPs, one is a 69, the other could get a 70, I haven't slabbed either yet.

I would do PCGS currently for most $$$$ potential.

Thanks for the input, @hfjacinto. Again I don't see myself selling unless it's a huge windfall.

I see them selling (or at least "asking") for minimum $1k on the bay raw. Haven't looked at completed auctions.

I also see slabbed CoAs selling solo for $125. That's $60 more than the entire coin package sold for originally.

I generally use Grey Sheet for prices. While ebay is good, I think the prices are higher than what I generally pay,

~$1000 is a fair price. Dealers around me are offering $850-950 for raw and $1000 for 69, the 70 is selling for ~$1500. Not a bad profit. The thing with these is that they are in demand but no dealer wants to hold them for a long time as the price fluctuates. If they have a seller lined up you'll get a great price. No seller you might get a low ball offer.

I almost sold 1 to get gold ( a year ago, dealers offered $1100 as he had a solid buyer) but I think these will sell for comparable to the 1995W so long term hold for me.

I've been going through this, I think you were probably referring to the post I made.
I'll probably end up submitting the coin myself to PCGS.
So you can add up the numbers if you want, it's a lot to go through.
Most basic "membership" is silver,$69/yr, no free submissions.
Return mail fee, 1-4 coins, should be $27 if value is $1-$1000 range.
One of these two grading types should work:
Grading fee Modern (1965-) max value under $2500, grading fee $30.
Modern Value (1965-) max value under $300, fee is $17.
They will slab the COA, oversize slab, $20 to do that.
So the membership, the return shipping, one of the two grading services, and the $20 for the COA.
They will have the COA number on the slab and COA holder, I'd say it's worth it.
If by chance they find the COA is signed, then they charge an extra $25. I assume they contact you if that's the case.
It's not just the low numbers they garner attention, there are also the "fancy" serial numbers people look for. It's a gamble, but worth it. You only get one shot at this, I'd really consider doing it rather than selling it sealed or just opening it.

So... are you saying that the delta of the potential realized value of the raw vs. 69 doesn't warrant the grading fees? Or not worth the gamble for a 70?

@Gilly, thank you very much for that breakdown. It really helps.

Yeah not sure I would either, but again it's nothing I'm ever going to sell personally. So I want it to be positioned in the best possibly way in case my son decides to liquidate my collection when I'm gone many years from now (hopefully). I don't have many coins worth slabbing; this one seems to be on the cusp.

Thanks again for the input.

Such a beauty ... love the ERP. So tough to pay the grading when I would have to separate it from the OGP, where it looks at home.

It looks like:
Bullion, Uncirculated, S Proof, W Proof, 2 S ERPs, W ERP. The Pride of Two Nations set was the only was to get the W ERP, so it's represented. For extra bling I got the RCM set as well as the USM set
