Yes I can see the V clearly. Good you got it graded. Does the weak VDB reduce the value as opposed to a stronger VDB? I know with the 1858/7 flying eagle, A strong and weak over date are denoted on slabs and the weak over date is significantly less valuable.

Does the prong in the holder cover the VDB? I hope not but if it does keep hi-res images of the VDB, actually just a V, on your phone and/or computer/tablet.

If this piece was struck after mint employees attempted to remove the VBD from the dies I believe it could increase the value. Without that being noted on the label you might have a hard time convincing someone it was struck after the VDB in the dies was "removed". Either was it's very nice you have it certified. Congratulations!
