When you say it is too large to be reeding, what coins did you use to compare it with? in your posted image, it does look large, but in actually it is small in relation to the cent itself. I'm thinking that maybe an Eisenhower dollar's reeding was pressed into this coin. Collecting since 1972. Learning from then on "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember.
