I just purchased this coin for a decent premium (compared to a normal off center). My best guess is that it is a weak strike along with being off center. That's one crazy Off Center Nickel! I've seen the stretching of the devices before. Not sure what to call that.

Guys, I've got this coin in hand now and it was struck on a quarter planchette!!!!!!! And it is a proof coin imo. I'm doing my best to upload a photo. When I save a photo on pixlr it doesn't save to the files on my phone. I bought more storage on my iCloud and still doesn't work. I'll figure it out soon enough and be back to normal.
