Not familiar with the variety but the fact that the seller has "0" feedback would have made me extremely hesitant.

I don't even think it is a 1922 TBH. Second 2 looks way off.

Why is there no picture of the strong reverse? See the reverse now, you have to go back to the original listing. Regardless of what the vendor says, ebay will allow you to return it.

imo--if you haven't paid for it yet just contact the seller and tell him what you found out and cancel the sale--let us know--

0 Feedback and returns not accepted = 2 strikes.

The date actually looks okay to me, but the photos aren't good enough to determine if there is a weak D. Makes a huge difference in value. Probably a risk I wouldn't take.

Whatever it is, it looks cleaned to me.
Do not remove the coin from the cardboard 2x2. Doing so hurts your chances of getting a refund if you return the coin.
Until you know what you are doing refrain from buying unslabbed coins online. Know and learn at local coin shows who you can trust. Find a local dealer and learn from them, too.
It really stinks when you get burned like this. Good luck and keep us posted as to what happens.

I agree with westernsky on all points. I've been able to get refunds on bad buys 90% of the time through ebay. I try to check sellers other listings before I buy and this seller has a lot of top errors with no feedback which is a red flag like others have said.

To CCF! Hopefully you can get a refund through ebay, if it's not the real deal.

If the Seller thought for one second that this coin was the real deal he would have slabbed the coin at PCGS, NGC or ANACS and would had received much more money for it in the end. There is still no Santa Claus in the coin business!

Sorry to hear this may be a scam. If it is real it appears to me to be a weak D. If you look at the 2nd picture down on the original listing it looks like you can see the weak D. Guess you will find out soon enough.

I also agree. It might not be counterfeit, but there's a strong possibility that it's a weak D and/or a details coin.
