I'm really looking forward to the Enhanced Uncirculated Peace and Morgan dollarsI already have the 2013 Enhanced Uncirculated ASE so I will probably not get the 2026 version unless the enhancement is different

I have the subscription but I am not familiar with enhanced coins. What do they do to them?

There are three types of enhanced finishes for silver coins so far, As far as I know it has only been applied to a 2014 Kennedy half dollar and 2 Silver Eagles The Kennedy half dollar is pretty boring But the ASEs are very interesting, they are almost the opposite of each other. The Enhanced Uncirculated finish on the left and the Enhanced Reverse Proof finish on the right

I have them in my 2016 coin buying budget. Reactivated my subscription for the Morgan; have been a buyer of the Peace uncirculated & proof coins since the Mint resurrected them in 2021. On the clad side of the aisle, a 10 coin enhanced uncirculated set was issued in 2017 from the SF mint to commemorate the 225th anniversary of the US Mint. The half dollar example: The reported mintage of this set is 210,419; they're widely available in the secondary market. Quote: I have the subscription but I am not familiar with enhanced coins. In its July 2017 press release, the Mint described the finish : Quote: Struck in celebration of the Mint's 225th anniversary, this set contains 10 coins with an enhanced uncirculated finish featuring a combination of laser-frosted areas and an unpolished field that accentuates design details. The process creates a unique contrast distinctly different from the mirror-like finish of proof coins. *Description corrected. . .thanks BobaDebt

2026 Will offer many, many Releases, The 250th Anniversary of The United States of America being Top of the list for Me, Besides the American Silver Eagles offered, to maintain a full set of Eagles. Morgan and Peace Silver dollars, While Many Here collect and Enjoy these, That ship sailed, While selectively collecting Some, along the way. The addition of the " Enhanced Uncirculated " Morgan and Peace dollars, a Tad too late, Would of made an Awesome release during the " 100TH Anniversary releases.Just My Opinion. Now the " Enhanced Uncirculated " American Silver Eagle for 2026, That's what I am Really Excited about and Have anticipated,( for years ).As stated above, The 2013-W set which had a Reverse Proof and an Enhanced Uncirculated , The last Enhanced Uncirculated minted. It will be in Good Company. The 2013-W ASE sets were the Only way to obtain these Too.......

On the clad side of the aisle, a 10 coin enhanced uncirculated P&D set was issued in 2017 from the SF mint to commemorate the 225th anniversary of the US Mint I wasn't aware of this set, and even though it's not as interesting as the ASE Enh UC version, I'm still going to get it. That said, I don't get why people include the "P&D" descriptor in the listings. From what I can tell, it's a 10 coin clad set from San Francisco.

I bought one. They also included an enhanced uncirculated example of the 2017 Liberty silver medal in a four medal set—S-Proof, P-Reverse Proof, W-Enhanced Uncirculated, D-Uncirculated. And, for what it is worth, there is an enhanced reverse proof Kennedy half dollar in a 2019 Apollo 11 50th Anniversary half dollar set.

Don't feel bad because a lot of ebay sellers and some web sites list them the same way It's pretty confusing So, in 2017, the San Fransisco mint put out 3 sets - Silver Proof, Clad Proof and Enhanced Uncirculated I hope the Peace and Morgan dollar Enh UC finish is more like the 2013 ASE version and less like the 2014 Kennedy half dollar

I forgot about the 2019 Enhanced Reverse Proof, but to be honest, I wasn't very impressed with it. It mostly looked like a silver reverse proof and I didn't see what made it "enhanced" Thanks to cpt billy's post I became aware of the 2017 set and was able to get one frm ebay for $30
