Anything Gold, Silver, Clad, Copper, Nickle, shinny, or dull from North America that's considered a coin, token, or medal!

Same as many others, everything that appears to be or was a coin.
I go to a lot of coin shows and have for a long time. I found that asking dealers where they get their coins produced a subjet of Albums and Folders. Many purchase collections in Albums and Folders, take all the coins out and put in flips for coin show sales. The Albums and Folders are usually thrown out so I asked rather than throw them out could you bring them to the ncxt show for me? Several have over the years and I now have well over 100 Albums. The ones I don't want I give away.

Interesting question.

I think I am in the middle class of collecting here, my biggest fault is not being able to stay focused on one set. I bounce from series to series. Most coins I have been getting lately, is from stopping into local coin shops and ask what new they got in, if it is a good deal or just something I want, I try to buy them.

I have been building my list for a up coming coin show. This is what I have so far.

Completed Dansco's
3 - State Quarters (P and D)
1 - State Quarter ( 2 album set P,D,S,S)
1 - Wash DC/Territory (P,D,S,S)
1 - Eisenhower w/proofs

Dansco's that are up to date

American Silver Eagles (BU) 1986 thru 2010
Sacagawea w/proofs 2000 thru 2010
Presidential (P and D) 2007 thru 2010 all satin finish

Other Dansco that I have trouble staying focused on

Type set - 10 more needed (have not added gold page yet)
Lincoln cents w/proofs 1909 to current 4 coins needed
Jefferson nickels w/proofs - 15 more needed (all coins are BU or proof)
Roosevelt dimes w/proof - 42 coins needed
Washington quarter 1932 to 1998 w proofs 86 coins needed
Peace dollars 6 coins needed
Mercury dimes circulated 2 coins needed
Indian Head cent - over half done
Blank half dollar album - this is my life book, has at least one proof half dollar
for ever year since I was born (starts 1958). 7 needed to be current

Have two Lighthouse coin cases, one for dollars the other for half dollars.
In the dollar case I have around 50 commemorative silver dollars, and most of the proof ASE's

In the half dollar case I put commemorative halves, bust, seated, Barber, Walking and Franklin.

I put a lot of coins in 2X2's and box up. When I get a good start on a set with these I will get
a Dansco to put them in. Also have a couple of boxes of Uncirculated rolls.

Next Dansco I will purchase.
Kennedy half (P and D)
Buffalo nickel
Liberty head nickel

Also need the Dansco for currency

I am sure I have forgot some sets .. but this should be most of them.

edit - PS
I would have to say that my favorite sets are the Lincoln and Jefferson. The Lincoln I have been working on the longest and the Jefferson I think I have been learning the most about. Both, IMO, when I get done will be very nice sets, in terms of grade or quality.
