Since the year is coming to an end soon I thought everyone might like to share (brag) what they accomplished this year. Sets you completed, key dates you obtained etc. My list: Completed:Ike pd, SBA pd, Proof sets 65'-2010' Caught up on:Sac pd, Pres.dollars, Kennedy pd, ASEGot my Franklin pd, Roosevelt pd, and Mercury(-16d) put in a Danscos. Added to my IHC,LWC,Buffs,Walkers. Got my 5 year old three coin folders to start on.(1c,10c,25c) Nothing magical but it's nice to complete any set and be up to date on others. Looking forward to hearing the successes from the past year.

I acquired an 1889 CC Morgan in VF30 (not the king but has been a lifelong goal) and 1882 and 1884 Morgan CC dollars in Choice to Gem BU. Maybe 2011 will be kind enough to let me acquire the king in say VG-8 or F-12. I also picked up the ever elusive 1921 Peace dollar, my first Peace dollar Coin, in MS-64. He's kind of a baby next to that big bad 1889CC but still a super nice coin. In addition, I acquired a PCGS Registry Lincoln birthplace penny as well as 1999 Clad and 1968 proof sets. EDIT: Group Photo

This year I obtained 2 key date coins, the 1916 SLQ in AG3 and the 1876 20 cent in XF. Then I had to buy a furnace for my house so that ended me buying key dates for a while.

Became a bronze power seller on ebay. I have sold enough collectibles since I lost my job 6 weeks ago, at the same time I need to replenish and keep ends meet. I only bought 3 rolls of Mercury dimes from a forum member here and a AU-BU roll of 45-D Mercury dimes on ebay with a few Full Band, and one has a Highly placed D, this position not commonly used after 1917. I wanted a 16-D dime for a long time, but I would hear from my partner for life never ending complaining, especially at the current time.

First I want to say: -Best of luck and congrats dbrablec - I went from getting a proof set each Christmas and not even knowing was in that small box from my childhood To being a coin crazed maniac. I joined this website and visit nearly daily, all I do is read about coins, talk about coins and try to buy coins. My wife wants to totally kill me. It's really been a fun year. I suppose the empty nesting syndrome gave me the opportunity. Sets started-wheats,buffalos, IHC's jeffersons, roosies, franklins, kenndy's,walkers, and mercuries Didn't finish much but a few are really close. Picked up a lot of type coins and other fun stuff as well.
