Ok, so in the Jewish Calendar, the current year is 5771.
Not sure what significance that has, but just wanted to throw it in there to add to the confusion.

I went into the bank on 2 January 1981 and asked for one of each denomination in 1981 coins. I got the blank stare instead.

I was only eleven, what did I know?
