Awesome! Working on that myself! Harder to find than you would think...no dealers carry singles (I don't want full mint sets) and I will not buy from the bay. Congrats on the completion!

Good Job Badthad! I'm actually thinking of starting this set. All in all, what am I going to have to shell out?

Having some satin coins from the mint can you actually see the difference? Satin vs regular proof LMC?

Nice collection. I didn't realize that there were these satin mint cents. So are they supposed to be a proof type or business strikes? Were all of the cents from that time period made this way?

The problem, like other modern Lincolns, it spots and contact marks. I actually bought many coins and did a trade deal with Carmykle to get some more to select from. A huge thanks and props to Carmykle for helping me out! He's one heck of a nice guy!

The satin finish coins were only available in Mint Sets. The 2009 satin Lincolns are quite special and should probably be considered keys- they were minted in the original 1909 bronze composition with a very low mintage of 774,844(the total number of Mint Sets sold). The 2009 proof Lincolns were also minted in the bronze composition but were available in multiple products so they had a mintage of over 2.2 million.
