In terms of mintage, probably some of my Colonials or Fractional Gold but, known mintage, that would be my 1885 Seated Half (5,200)

I think my 1921 Peace dollar (1,006,473) But I have a coin from around 300 B.C., that I guess is rare.

Rarest? I don't have many rare coins, if any, but I have a half eagle that is the most valuable. Rarest would probably be one of the large cents I own, the 1814, since they only made 357,000.

My rarest is an 1878-CC Trade dollar. 97,000 minted. I didn't buy it anywhere; it's been in my family for a while.

Cool thread idea! This will be a fun one to follow!
Well, the rarest in terms of mintage = I have two 1796 Liberty Cap cents, of which they only minted 109,000.
The rarest die variety I have (which I was hoping to post up last night for a couple of second opinions because I certainly could be seeing what I want to see rather than reality) is Fugio, Newman 12-LL which is now considered R6, which means somewhere between 10 and 50 are known to exist. There are probably a lot more, but those are the documented ones. They minted LOTS of Fugios, and a ton of die varieties.

Most expensive is a 1918/7-D Buffalo nickel that's at NGC being graded as we type. It will be a "Fine-something". I have no idea how many of them are around. The rarest is a 1936 Proof Washington quarter (PF-64) of which a total of only 3,837 were struck.

Probably my 1998-S LMC Close AM. Mintage could be as little as 2,000.

1878 CC GSA. Now I'm going to have to go buy an extremely low mintage coin to compete with all of you rockstar collectors on here. Great idea on the thread. This is why I love this site; Awesome people with great coins, and no pretentiousness.
