Rarest as far as mintage goes, my 2008w $5 Burnished AGE, only about 12,100 minted. Rarest as in hardest to find, my 1864L IHC AU50 Snow 4 (it's a variety)

My rarest coins by mintage are a couple of ATB "P" pucks with 27,000. Everything else I have has a mintage of at least 500K.

Beautiful coin Moe, I particularly like the 'half dollar' vs '50 c' versions. Your photos are top notch, nice job...

I have these scarce early proof Jefferson nickels, 1938 - 19,365 1939 - 12,535 1940 - 14,158 1941 - 18,720 1942 - 29,600 1942P - 27,600 and the matte finish 1997 Jefferson SMS - 25,000 plus my avatar - 1971 No S proof. Estimated mintage 1,655 I have a 1937 D 3 legged Buffalo nickel. Although not a US coin, it is a neat issue from Daniel Carr "1964-D" Fantasy Over-Struck Peace dollars "Die Pair 6, High-Grade Finish" ( there were 379 carefully minted with Die Pair 6 in High Grade ) 1,964 total mintage all die pairs. I see the bulk handled graded are selling at $300.00 and better these days. Here's one ... Wonder what it will fetch in the end? I got mine for $165.00 shipped.

Pattern of a Belgium bronze 5 cents, 1903, maybe unique? The standard business strike is next to it. The pattern is bronze, the standard business strike is copper nickel. Not many of these types of patterns escape from the mint!

Mine is a ZAR 1892 5 Shillings Double Shaft, mintage of 4,327, and about 10 other ZAR's with mintages in the 12K to 25K. My Avatar has mintage of 1.

My avatar (which I was lucky enought to bet at an auction years ago) has an unknown mintage- but it's the only one recorded in any reference books.
With regards to Roman Provincials - having a unique coin is not that exciting - I have about 10 or so of which there is only 1 known.

Not positive, but I may have a 1916 LWC proof. If it checks out, that's 484 times rarer than the svdb.
