Found this one in a roll. The edge looks off to me is this an error? What do you think? If it is will it have any value? Thanks.

It is a MAD coin. The upper die which is adjustable was not centered over the lower fixed die. Leaving the off center look on just the obverse. This is very common. The ones to save are the ones where the devices fall over the edge of the rim. Some may be close, but they need to fall over the rim in order to be collectable. Other wise, just put them back to work.

Ok that good info for me. I will be on the look out for them. Does the penny in your pic. have any value?

Only what someone is will to pay for it. I could see this coin going for the $5 range +/-. I've never found one, but others here have.

These generally have no premium value unless the die is misaligned enough to affect the design devices.
Very minor cases are very common on 1973 cents.

This topic reflects the double sided rim offset. Does yours seem similar? Creating a new topic with images might reveal more or get it better attention. Thanks, Doug.

No, this one is a MAD (obverse) with a fin on the reverse. Where the rim is the thinnest is opposite where the MAD was the narrowest. Probably the reason why the reverse is weak on that area. 5:15 area.
