As per the advice of members of the forum, I consolidated today....

I essentially traded 50 Kennedy halves I purchased 3 weeks ago @ $1/ea for a 1916-D Mercury dime in G4 condition.

Needless to say I'm happy, and pics will be up Monday :0

make sure its authentic, many 16-Ds are fake. Too good to be true if you ask me.

If 1964 Kennedys, they were worth 633 in melt as of Friday night. Add 3 bucks per for a premium and you have 783. A 16D in G4 lists at 900 on Coin Worlds site. Yeah, I would say that was a deal.

Golly. That's deep, and that's not playable.

Nope , the kennedys were all copper :D

Just kidding , yes they were silver, coin goes off to PCGS for authenticity, the dealer is pretty reputable, so I imagine if it comes back as fake/counterfeit he'll fix the problem.

I don't think the trade was that great but buying silver halves for a buck a piece is sweet.
