The only reverse proof dimes I can think of... 2018 San Francisco Silver Reverse Proof set. 2015 March of Dimes Silver Set, which has a reverse proof P dime and a regular proof W dime. Nothing with reverse proof W. We might have gotten one in 2021 if they did not ruin what they had going with the 2019 cent and 2020 nickel.

My 1895 hole in the coin collector Morgan dollar album will never be filled. Why do they do that?

Or are you saying that you don't think there will ever be one minted? Yes, I don't think West Point will ever mint a Reverse Proof Dime as a stand alone item like the Penny and Nickle

Just put a regular W proof in the album backwards and call it a day.

Two days ago, I would have said no. But now that I just got laid off - I'm going to have LOTS of holes that may or may not get filled But for now, I'm putting a pause on all my Mint subscriptions..

John sorry about the bad news. On my career I've been laid off 3 different times, I look at it as an opportunity to find something better. I don't start sets that I won't finish so the answer is no, but it may take a while to do it. I'm going to try and get 3 more holes filled in my slabbed IHC set this year and the 1893 and 1895 Morgan's will get filled eventually.

There's something about a 'Swiss cheese' album...

I'm from Canada, but I do collect a number of US coin series. I doubt that I will ever get the 1909S VDB for my Lincoln Cent series. Almost every series that started over 80 years ago has got some really expensive ones. However, the 1909S VDB is more likely than ones I am missing in some of my Canadian series. I will never get the 1921 silver 5 cent or the 1921 50 cent. Even if they were given to me (NOT!), I would probably sell them as they would be too much tied up in a single coin.

I have a few holes that will probably never be filled, like anything at $500 or above. I guess the question could just be, what is the most you're will to, or capable of, paying for a single coin.
Like most Cent collectors, a 1909-S VDB. I would never be satisfied with a PO-01, and even at that barely identifiable condition, the price would fill a half dozen other holes with decent specimens, and is more than the cap I mentioned.
1922 Plain Cent. Not only is the price out of reach, but it is just a mint error, and I'm not much into error coins. I wish these two holes did not exist in my albums. Even the CAPS has them.
In my Franklin album, I'll probably never fill the Proof 1950 hole. To get under my self-imposed price limit, it would have to be below PR64. I want proofs closer to perfection.
If I ever get all the other holes filled, I'll probably work on upgrades to the already-filled holes going forward, rather than blow a lot of money on low-grade specimens.

I just realized I had a hoe in my Intercept Shield Type Set Album that's finally going to be filled.
Except for the last page, which is for commemorative coins, I use the album for circulated coins.
I never thought the spot for the last penny would be completed, but now it will be.

There are several National Commemorative Medals that I may never own. The hunt is still fun.
