Rescued from the reject bin, mostly large cents and a little bit of silver. Crazy stuff - how did these end up here? Not my collection area so I'll need to take a closer look later.
Probably need help with the 5 cents silver varieties.... there's so many

That 1943 steel U.S. cent looks to be in great shape, assuming it hasn't been plated. Great finds all around.

Wow! That's quite a selection.

Those older Canadian (non-silver) nickels seem to be in good shape and have a hidden secret: Around their REV perimeter is the Morse code message, "We win when we work willingly."

Starting from the smallest coins, here are the 5 cent silvers. Updated the grades if possible too, now that I've gone and taken a better look at them. I might post some later in the grading forums.

Please correct me if any grades or identification are wrong because these are not what I typically collect. (Also, they're so, so very tiny.)

If there are this many rejects, you have to imagine what was not rejected and is sitting inside the machine! I suspect a lot of decent stuff.

Yup. Looks like someone needed quick cash...

Honestly you should notify the bank manager, check with local police regarding a stolen collection, and maybe even post on social media.

You may think you've hit the jackpot, but I would bet heavy on that those coins likely arrived there under less than honest circumstances and someone will be out.

If it happened to me I would be thrilled beyond belief if someone made the effort to return my property (those could be very sentimental coins).

wow... nice haul! Although it is likely someone is missing something too.
The newer coins could just be random rejects, but the electromagnetic sensors and light sensors have criteria on size and metal, and some even look for thickness and ridges on the sides. Given that most reject current coins based on a signature, I would check for flaws at mint stage given the haul, but it could be just nicks. The loonies could be some of the fakes going around, although newer than most it seems - there have been a few sources: Edmonton, Montreal...but they circulated. Some of those have blurry features, or odd edges along the 11 sides. Some have detached beaks and odd heads. Although people are not supposed to keep them, some stayed in collections as oddities.

I didn't find this in a bank, but a supermarket Coinstar while on a day trip out of town. I didn't want to speculate too much at the time but since the reject bin was overflowing I had to get them out of there, for safekeeping or whatever. When I got home, I googled whether there was a coin theft around the area and didn't find anything.

Basic break and enters don't make it to the news/google. Generally, people don't post what was taken, in hopes that they can have it found by police. You could check in with the police if you were so inclined, although hard to know the time they were there, and unless whoever had them had photos, it would likely be a random type of collection - or things just in the penny jar.
