So long, and thanks for all the silver!

@Earle42 - Heh! I called $35 too. I'm expecting only superficial changes (if any) this November. Right now I'm thinking we'll see a slight firming of average daily spot Ag prices at or just above $35 USD by next April.

I voted 35 for one simple reason. Silver is setting about five bucks higher then when I first got into it in January of last year, say 26 per ounce then, and 31 an some change today. So after all the ups an downs manipulations etc., its held a five buck increase in my eyes, and I expect about the same by this time next year, so I voted 35 as 36 was not an option, lol....

Over the next year, I camnnot see silver getting too far away from general trends in the national economy. $35, + - 20%.

Probably better off buying silver futures at a price you would feel happy with, to eliminate some of the price volatility.

I know, I know! I would rather have physical silver myself! If that is the case, just buy ASE's as you see fit. Actually, I am a fan of poured bars.

I went with $35 because it seems it is pretty stable right now and will probably raise a little due to inflation. Things will probably stabalise after the election. Although I suspect it will be all over the place as we get closer.

Putting all my eggs in a basket... at $30 this time next year.

Assuming we will have four months for the market to digest the new "Oil friendly" president and the nation will be hearing news stories about deep budget cuts. The positive events will cause a drop in silver vs. US Dollar.

I also say that that price is going to be hit at that time during a downtrend.

Who knows last year this time silver was on its way up to almost $50 Oz and then that quick drop that for the most part has ranged from the high 20s to the low 40s so who knows no rhyme or reason as of lately (past year or so) as to drops or increases

I believe the price will be slightly lower next year. The last 10 years have seen PM prices increase at a great rate and I don't think that's sustainable for much longer. IMO prices will either stay relatively stable or they will drop somewhat.

A year off is a LONG time in the metals markets. If some sort of financial disaster hits, we could see silver and gold prices zoom. If not, then they will likely keep bouncing along as they have been with gold in the $1600-1700 range and silver in the $28-35 range. Of course, we have not seen the last of the money printing in Europe, Japan, or the US. I'm betting on about a 30% rise in silver price over the next year from this and declining production.

On the other hand, perhaps that little light-bulb above their heads will come on and the politicians will realize that NOW is the time to get our spending and debt under control before it consumes us. Yeah, I know, this is not likely but IF it were to happen, then we could see silver in the low $20s again. Could it be a... coin flip? Maybe.

Well, 35 bucks looks to be the clear winner, for now anyway as every other guess is just scattered around....

I hope I can muster enough memory power to check back next April, even if I and the rest of us are even still around to even care, lol. Going by history and all the doomsday crews past "end of the world predictions" accuracy (ZERO), good chance we will indeed be around....
