I know a lot of us here use coins or parts of coins as our custom avatar on the forum. I searched and could not find a similar post to this one, but if you have an avatar picturing a coin, token, medal, whatever -- post the full image of the piece here for all to see. Mine is a Conder token I picked up about 2 years ago from a fellow collector on another coin forum. It has been my avatar on all forums I frequent ever since then. Note that I used photoshop to fix the mis-attributed D&H number on the label... NGC called it Middlesex 339, but it is actually Middlesex 342. Let's see your avatar coins!

My avatar is the reverse of one of my favorite Morgans in my collection, an 1879-S graded MS64PL by NGC.

My avatar is not of a coin, it's a "Friday Patch" which is a portion of the 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron patch that I was assigned to 1989-92;

an Indian Head cent restruck into an high school fraternity challenge/membership token by dyer jewelers of indianapolis (who just shut down after nearly a century of business). the seven stars represent the seven founding high school buddies who started the Beta Phi Sigma fraternity in 1899 the fraternity went on to be an international college fraternity. i dont collect tokens but I had to keep this one out of cool factor alone

I own a 1961 D half, I bought it May 18 last year. When I crafted my custom avatar, I grabbed an image of another 1961 half from the internet to lay under the periodic table cell for silver.

 1878 CC Morgan dollar (although you can't actually see the CC from the picture of the obverse).

My dime was purchased as a raw coin from a Stack's auction. They called it a "lightly hairlined unc with claims to choice" or some such language. NGC and PCGS both body-bagged it as cleaned (this was before they slabbed problem coins). It now resides in an ANACS holder, labeled as "AU-55 detail, cleaned, artificially toned". Yikes! These are the original auction photos. I still love it.

This was a keepsake given out to members of the Fort Wayne, Indiana, Scottish Rite Valley of the Northern Jurisdiction of the United States for the Bicentennial year of our country. My Grandfather was a member of this Valley, so it has personal meaning to me as a Scottish Rite Mason myself.

Mine is a Mercury dime, of course. 1943-D Mercury Dime by CaptainFwiffo, on Flickr I have been struggling to take a better picture of it, but the slab is really scuffed up. I might break down and have it re-holdered. The avatar picture is from Heritage.
