I went in to the bank today (I like having one nearby that is open Sundays), and asked for 10 rolls of Nickels, 6 rolls of Dimes, and 5 Rolls of Quarters. When the guy came back he commented that the dimes looked really old and wondered if I wanted the other 4 dime rolls that were with them. I said yes, and wow am I glad I did...

10 Rolls of dimes - 505 Silvers (1966 and older) and 11 potential silvers (1968). Over a thousand dollars in silver from $50 of dime rolls!

Pictures to follow...

A variety of the different years I got. Alas, the 1928 is extremely worn, but still made me very happy!

Cheers!

Please do not take this as offensive in any way. I just want to ask, nothing personal.
Why do you say potential silver's?
They look, sound, feel and are 100% different compared to nickel and do not stick to a magnet.

I strongly suspect the 1968's are the silver ones too based on look and feel.. however I haven't yet run a magnet by them to be sure so I didn't want to claim they were as of yet :)

The dimes in question are Canadian dimes. That is why the dates are 1968 and older.

Remember he is talking Canadian coins. They kept silver in their coins until 1968. S

For dimes and quarters:
Pre 1967 coins are .80 silver
1967 are either .80 or .50 silver
1968 are either .50 silver or made of nickel

For half dollars and dollars, all were .80 silver through 1967 and nickel after that.
