By my eye...your 60 large dates are correct, your 60 small date is actually a large date and your 60-D small date is indeed a small date... Your 70s small date appears to be a large date....you are by far not the first nor the last to make this mistake

Your picture of the 60 small date is a bit blurry...so I am not 100% on that one...a better pic would help

Pretty sure he has all the 60's right. The 70-S small date looks like a large.

All the 60s are correct, both 70-S examples are indeed a large dates. Liberty is strong on both.

The 60's look good to me. I am not sure about the 1970S small date. You can't go by "Liberty" being weak or strong as an indicator because I have seen 1970S Small Dates well struck with a strong Liberty. It looks like it could be a small date but I really need to see a closer picture of the date to confirm exactly what it is.

I had to enlarge this one to look at it closer. It had the chiseled tail on the 9. The tops of the date looked the same height. But the bottom of the 7 was lower like the large date. The large date curl on the 9. So I guess the zero in the date was weak or to a slight hit to it and looked like it was level. The 9&7 looked thicker than normal. So it might need a closer look with a glass/scope to see what exactly happened? But this is a large date.

Yeah like Coop says...I look for TWO things.... One is the Inner Curl pointy 9 for small dates. The other relates to the "strength of the LIBERTY strike".... I think...fix me if I am wrong...that the SMALL date has a weaker LIBERTY as you go down the letters....... <?>

I actually learned not to use the weak LIBERTY to identify the 1970 Small Date from Coop. (trying to find his post telling the reason why you shouldn't use it) Well it was either Coop or Coppercoins that said it...here is one of the threads that mentions not to us LIBERTY to identify SD/LD https://goccf.com/t/82542&whichpage...0,Small,date
