My favorite obverses are the Peace dollar and the Walking Liberty half. My favorite reverses are the Wheat penny and the Shield nickel.

Hard question...I like them all but for obverse I say Buffalo nickel. For the reverse I say Buffalo nickel. :D

What can I say... IMHO these two are classics I never get tired looking at them and both were minted / in circulation during critical times in US history and during periods of great economic boom.
