Folks, I have got several US blue boxed proof sets that I purchased about ten years ago online. I wasn't quite informed about US coins back then, and made the purchase without having any idea about them.
The question is, now I need storage space and trying to thin out my World coins, I want to keep one or maybe two of those sets. I need your opinion about which ones to keep and which to sell/swap. US coins are generally very easy to trade here in Turkey. Many people enjoy them (again, without knowing too much about them)
The sets are as follows:

-1966 Special mint set. Some undistracting toning to the nickel and the dime coin.
-1968 Proof set. Some moderate toning on the nickel and the dime, as well as relatively minor toning to the quarter. Toning in the Lincoln Cent coin. The half dollar coin looks very nice though.
-1969 Proof set. Some tiny spots (like light carbon spots) to the half dollar, again toning on the nickel, quarter and dime. Lincoln Cent seems very nice though
-1970 Proof set. Toning free, except the Lincoln Cent (has some cloudy, light blueish surfaces) though, the half dollar has a minor several milimeters distracting mark, like a line of carbon spotting, or changeing colour.
-1971 Proof set. Pretty much toning-free, coins look lovely.
-1972 Proof set. Pretty much toning free again, except for the orangeish colour in the Lincoln Penny. The half dollar looks cameo-ish apperance.
-1983 Proof set. Camreo apperance. No toning except the nickel, which has some cloudy apperance on polished surfaces.
-1992 Proof set (in purple card sleeve). Nice untoned, sharp coins with a crack on the proof set's care around 2 centimeters, going from the half till the Quarter.

Now, what do you think? Which ones to keep (to keep up a healthy per-type US coin collection) or which ones doesn't?
Also, these sets are sitting in their cardboard outer sleeves. Is it an OK way to store them?
Thanks.

Your decision...they are all worth around $5-6 except for the last two which are a tad less.

I should mention that quite a few originally were sold by the Mint for twice what they are presently worth.

Good for collecting, but a poor investment

Maybe just pick the best looking sets....

Is the cent in your 1970 a small date? that might give it a little more value.

Thanks for the advices, guys. I probably will break the 1992 set and put into airtites (it's already damaged) and keep one of the best looking proof sets and will swap the rest in here.
Are all the 1968-69-70-71-72 Proof half dollars %40 silver?

Fuzzy, I do not know how to seperate a small date to a normal date 1970 cent. I think I have a regular 1970 Lincoln Penny, should I observe the difference just by observing the dates of both of the coins together?

The half dollar in the 1966 Special Mint set is also 40% silver.

Of all your sets, the 1966 Special mint set and 1970s proof set shows the highest retail value of $10.00 to $12.00 each.

Looking at Coin World's Coin Values, it seems the individual value (excluding any variety type) is in the Kennedy half dollar, and if you only want to keep one set, I would chose the set with the higher grade Kennedy half.

Also check to see if all the coins in the 68, 70, 71 and 83 sets have S mintmarks. if any are missing the mintmark, you have a winner.

Thanks for the advices guys, one more thing, should I break a set or two and put the coins inside airtites? Or should I leave sets as they are?
I will check the missing mintmarks later tonight. I am, however, certain that the person I bought the sets from did that before me.

I would leave them where they are in the sets in a foreign country I would imagine they may be more valuable as a complete set
