I came across this ebay listing describing this $2 banknote as a solid number note. There is nothing remotely solid about it.

about the only thing I see on this one is it's a devils face bill. Nothing about the prefix, numbers or signatures.IMO

Then scroll down in the add and it says "almost solid numbers" lol.

I saw a fellow one time posting photos of what he said was an 1899 CC Morgan. We looked at the photos and said, That's a 1921 Philly, why did you think it was an 1899-CC? He said, "Well, when I googled Morgan dollars, 1899-CC dollars came up, so I guessed that's what I had."

Similarly, I wonder if this guy saw that solid number bills get a lot of money, so he must have a solid number bill.

Maybe they tried putting their finger through it and couldn't so decided it was a 'solid'?

well theres three 9s and if you flip the 6 thats four 9s. maybe four out of 7 makes it almost solid in his mind?

Well, if you think about its physical properties, ithis note is a solid and it does have numbers.
