WE went through four rolls today and found a 1990 S in PF-50ish and about half a roll of 1993D BU.

I am debating whether or not it would be worth keeping the 93s.

I can not wait to go through the rest tomorrow!

Went through 2 boxes:

box 1 - 9 40% and 1 90% Kennedy.

box 2 - 1 40% and a 1936 Walking Liberty.

I am psyched about the Walking Liberty. These were my best boxes so far.

Anyone know how to order 1000 dollar bags? My teller tells me they can only get boxes from their carrier (Dunbar).

Really lucky, for sure. What parts of the country are you making these silver half finds?

I've had streaks of several boxes in a row with NO silver at all. Then I'll get a box that has 30-50 silvers.

I would say my overall average per box is about 3-5 40% silvers, and only a 90% every 8-12 boxes---

I am in Maryland. As I said, these were my best boxes. Before that I searched $1000 and found 3 40% and 1 90%.

It sounds like the bags are the way to go, but I can't find how to get them. I am going to try and do 2K per week and see how things go. Skunk boxes seem inevitable.

On another note, I am going to be driving through rural North Carolina. What types of banks do you all find are good for customer wrapped rolls?

Well, I made it thru my 4 boxes this weekend with the following finds:
1971-D - missing f on "FG"
1972-D - strikethru on the reverse
1979-S Proof - pretty nice condition considering where it was
1980-D strikethru
1981-P - no "FG"
1982-P - No "FG" (2 of these)
several late 80's in MS
2001-P (5)
2004-D (2)
1968 (3)
1967
1964

Nothing outstanding like the haul of 100+ 40% halves, but there's always next weekend.

It had been a long time since I found anything worthwhile, but this 1964-D turned up at a local CitiBank. It looks to be in maybe AU-55 grade, with thick natural toning. Used to be I wouldn't get excited about a single silver Kennedy but times are tough...

That '64 is just like the one I found last week
very dirty looking, I placed the one I found in warm water for a few hours and then lightly dried it with a towel
cleaned up a bit but silver is silver

Yeah, I'm finding an awful lot of hunter marks on mine too. I'm hoping that one day I find something that has been marked so I'll be able to post something here telling everyone that some hunter doesn't know what he's hunting.
