Is this a full band or torches I see for good money on ebay if so how can I determine value?

Try searching ebay sold items for a similar coin.

John I reposted with better pics. Thanks for the input and advice. I am learning. I don't get why I see coins on ebay for a few hundred etc and I have very similar. I can't tell What's the diffrence

It's like a Chevy Malibu being similar to a BMW M3, one needs to learn the differences. That is not an overnight accomplishment. Hang in here and don't get too urgent in your learning quest. For one thing, the Roosevelt dimes of earlier days were minted of a different technology, have a greater collector demand, and fewer of the earlier survive in collectible quantities, the latter greater quantities. This is a huge simplification, likely others can offer a better explanation.

The split bands are noticed more on the Mercury dimes. But some do collect the Roosevelt split dimes. (but these are more common)
