I hit a bit of a milestone earlier this calendar year when I finally completed my half-set of Mercury dimes. The majority of these were MS64 to MS66 and cracked from various PCGS and NGC slabs over the course of time. I have a VERY difficult time capturing this with what I consider good pictures but I think you can make out the luster on most of these. I have this set sitting in my home proudly on display. The problem is no one I live with or who visits me seems to care. Thank goodness for the CCF!

Oooh shiny! The luster is blinding Makes me wish I had been around to see bank rolls of BU Mercs back in the day.

Set is gorgeous, and I really love the look of those Capital holders. I've always wondered, though; is rattling and/or rotation an issue with these since there's no membrane between the coin and the rigid plastic?

I suggest a nice pair of cotton gloves and ease them on in there so the rims stay intact. No rattling, no rotation. I love this cap plastic holders.

Fantastic set. Reallllly nice. How many have full bands? Did you check the 45 for FSB's. And if you ever think of giving that to someone that loves Mercury dimes, think of me. I'm presently working on a full set of all FSB Mercury dimes. Only 4 more to go.
