Something doesn't look right about this pasty looking 1994 1c on 10c...is it just my imagination?

One would hope they XRF this coin before listing as a penny on dime.

its clearly not a copper planchet, look at the edging, its round not squared off. I don't think its silver, but nickel.

The surface, especially on the obverse, looks suspicious...would love to get Roger's opinion on this one.

No expert here but it all looks legit to me and what I would expect. What seems troubling to everyone?

Cheers, Bill

not my area of expertise but I wouldn't expect to see so much detail on the thinner (dime) planchet ?

It does look a bit off. Anyway, 'Choice UNC MS-63+' is a bit specific for an uncertified coin.

Its a little out of focus and way to much light on the reverse, considering that it seems legit.

Most definitely legit in my opinion, the planchet is undersized, and was not shaped by the 12-sided collar die... a magnet and weight would help determine if it was struck on a 10c planchet or a foreign planchet. Looks like someone snapped it up, the price was very reasonable (I have one already, or I would have quickly bought it).
