I daughter has a part-time job at the public library in the town next to where we live. Yesterday she came up to me and handed me a BU 1964-D Roosevelt dime. She told me a woman came in and used the dime at the library. My daughter then bought it out of the change at face value.

The dime is nice, but what was even nicer is when she said to me, "Aren't you glad you taught your daughters how to look for silver coins?"

That made my day. At least I've done something right in raising them.

This is a keeper for the sentimental value even more than the silver value.

It's so cool that to most people, this is just another dime. But we're not most people.

Nice score.

It looks barely circulated.

Nice. This reminds me of a time when I found two silver quarters at my university's library four years ago. It's awesome that you've raised a smart daughter.
