IMO, you did very well with that coin. Despite the damage, it looks very attractive and still retains a lot of detail. Problem-free, that would be a $2000+ coin!

That's a nice interesting piece. The 1794 Half Cents have never gotten the press they deserve, but yet again, there are no that many of them around. If one were to become "a crazy obsessed type collector" who needed to have EVERY design the U.S. Mint System issued, there would be three or four varieties of 1794 Half Cents in that set. One 1794 and one 1795 Half Cent is good enough for me.
