1925 Peace Dollar For Grading

So a little bit of backstory: as a child, I always admired my grandfather's small but beautiful coin collection. He was the one who got me interested in coins and I have vivid memories of going with him to pick up coin folders at the store for LWCs, Jefferson nickels, Kennedy halves, and the like, and then coming home to look through his old Whitman folders to fill a few of the holes. Out of his whole collection, however, one coin always caught my eye: a 1925 Peace dollar in a small leather pouch with a hole fitted perfectly for its size, just like a coin holder. It was unusual because he did not collect the series and I had only ever seen one or two other Peace dollars in his collection. Just the reverse could be seen inside with a little bit of edge toning, so I always wondered how the other side looked. When I asked him about it, I learned that many decades ago, he and my grandmother received it from a family friend as an anniversary present and the pouch had always displayed the reverse side up. Of course I wanted to examine the obverse and I happily discovered it had toned nicely around the rim and bust. That coin remained in the pouch with his collection even as he passed much of the rest on to me because I just felt that it belonged with my grandparents not matter what. Recently, they finally insisted I have it, so I placed it in a 2x2 temporarily as I'm reorganizing my collection. I hope to put it back in the pouch soon, but no matter what it is one of my favorite and most cherished pieces in my collection as a memento of my grandparents and their love. One day a long long time from now, I hope to be able to give it to my future child on his/her anniversary too. So now, first off, thank you for reading! And secondly, I'm just curious how you all would grade the coin?

Cool story. I'd say AU-58 but I've seen coins of this quality in MS-62 holders.

MS 62. It is similar is quality to mine and yours is actually more attractive. Here are pictures of mine.

There may be some PVC damage on the lower obverse. Those greenish areas are a concern. Otherwise it could make MS63.

I think 63 as well, and attractive to me at least. Shame about the reverse field dig.

I know there's a big collector base behind blast-white examples of this series, just like there is for SLQs and Mercury dimes. But personally, I love the originality of this coin.
