First you need to show us what you are looking at? That would be the place to start. So many things it might be, we could only guess at what you have. (we don't like to do that)

I'll post pictures despite my loathing for the process here which forces me to revert back to turn of the century photo techniques.

However and hypothetically, what if I am not asking for verification or an online expert opinion?

What if I am merely asking, 'what to do next' and for the obvious reasons that were not clearly stated. Possibly I may desire to profit from it.

You have to get your new variety verified and attributed for it to be marketable. That requires you to work with knowledgeable people in the coin fraternity to get that done. Pictures, along with an explaination of the error, will go along way in helping you reach your objective. Old saying: "One picture is worth a thousand words!" still goes a long way today!

If you loath the way things are done around here then maybe this site isn't for you.

Good luck!

Yes sir, I do indeed loathe the picture loading on this forum, here in 2017, having size limitations at less than one-half a meg and requiring manual manipulation of each and every image file, then manually downloading each of those image files already on my computer, yet in a far superior form, just to share visual stimulation with the members.

The tone of your 'almost answer' has me beginning to believe you may very well be correct and this incredibly fragmented forum; that has over sixty sections, whose layout presents as an affront and visual assault on my eyes viewed from all my devices, just really may not be for me.

Maybe another time, I'll pop in and see how things are going.

Good evening and thanks. :-)

Neminem Laedere, don't let that loathsome door hit you on the posterior on your way out.

You have a few other places to ask, but there won't be as many experts there.

It's probably just post mint damage anyway.

Allowing any more than that is just ridiculous and not necessary. The image below is 200KB and 1000 pixels square (click to enlarge), you're telling me you need more?

Can't be that bad, find another forum that gets a thousand posts a day.

Nice pic Bobby. The capacity here is plenty for anyone that seriously has a coin to post.
