Poll Question
i like my current profile picture, it is an 1888 Newfoundland $2 gold piece from my collection, however I feel it is time to change it up and I like the idea of using my new 1936 dollar as my profile picture due to it's attractive toning..the only question is which side should I use? I don't much care which which side I use so I'm leaving it up to you to decide polling ends around this time on Thursday, after that I will post my new profile picture request with whichever side wins. OPTION A: THE OBVERSE OPTION B: THE REVERSE
Feel free to call me Will.

Hard decision, but I voted OBV. Ever since a little kid hearing stories of kings, I thought that effigy of Geo. V was the "perfect" example of what a king "should" look like. To me I still think a design that better pictures the definitions of "regal" or "royalty" would be very hard to create/find.

Hey Will, I chose "B", has the toning you apparently like and are in to, and why not "advertise" you're Canadian, not just an English subject!

The obverse looks nicer but the reverse tells it is a dollar, and since you're the dollar man well... John1

Reverse - will instantly know it's "thedollarman" from Canada!

I like the reverse. Cool coin/avatar either side you choose.

B seems like it would make much more sense, but I like the look of A more. Hmm... my vote goes to the obverse.

thanks for the votes and opinions everyone. I expected a strong support for A due to its slightly more attractive appearance because of the less even toning but that isn't the case. some good points here are made why to choose the reverse. and Earle42, I couldn't agree more..it is quite a beautiful design..are you familiar with the 1935 Canadian dollar obverse?
also, I don't think there's ever been a poll to get the whole forum's input and decision on a single member's future profile picture..i thought it would be a really cool idea to put it up to you guys and girls to decide, so i'd love your thoughts on such a concept.
Feel free to call me Will.

I didn't vote. I see nothing wrong or old or anything with your present one.

I decided that I might as well vote for B (it's less ugly), but I definitely like your current pic much better than either.

I voted for this ... Actually I voted for the reverse for the same reasons others stated. Nice coin by the way.

Looks like the reverse is the more popular idea. I have to agree with the choice.
