That is just crazy .... The thought of having that 1793 chain cent and 1796 quarter is what makes dreams ...

Great set. Well beyond anything I'll ever achieve.
And it's only the #2 set!

Kanga, #2, what's the #1? How many $ invested in that...makes my AG/G expanded 7070 look really BAD!

His Jefferson nickels are lacking 1943-D 5C, FS MS66FS 1950-D 5C, FS MS67FS He needs a 1945-S and a 1953-S in those grades. What an amazing collection that is.

I love the details on the history of the 1807/6 Large Cent! Talk about being able to trace a coin's provenance.
I also like the 1811 Large Cent that was found in an old desk in 1915. No such luck with the furniture around our house.

I'm disappointed. I thought he would have an 1823 large sized Capped Bust quarter. Has anybody put an estimated value on this set? Millions upon millions.

I'm still in awe, not only to just how much money one would need to spend to come even close to assembling a set/collection like this but how so many of the early copper coins are all red, some still blazing as if they came off the coin press yesterday! There are some coins that could be upgraded like the Nickels, I think they went for the toughest pieces as they became available, many in the past two years, with all the great collections being auctioned off, Missouri Cabinet of Half Cents, the several huge large cent collections, the Pogue collection, etc. They certainly laid out some serious coin (pun intended) for these recent acquisitions. Heck just the auction buyers fees are probably close to half a million or more alone.
