I was perusing the Mint's website yesterday and noticed a new banner at the bottom for "The United States Mint Loyalty Program." Per the webpage, Quote: When you make three or more purchases, you'll enjoy free [budget] shipping on all future orders placed the same year. You just need to be a registered user on the website to qualify. All purchases count, including product enrollments. The program restarts each year on January 1st. Sounds like a nice deal if you plan to order products that aren't available in product enrollments, like commememoratives, or are looking ahead to items later in the year, like the San Francisco Mint Silver Reverse Proof Set. Thoughts? Mods, I was not sure which forum to post this under, but seeing as there is a topic about the free shipping for product enrollments here I placed this topic in the same spot. Please move it if it fits better elsewhere.

Now if they'd just move all the product enrollment items to January, you could get free shipping the entire year

I will have to check this out. Commonly I order a silver proof set, burnished and proof ASE's, and both silver commemorative $'s Often I wait until multiple are available and have them shipped as one shipping charge. Now I may not need to wait.

This is nice to know. Thanks for sharing. Now if they'd just get more items I'd like to buy.

Quote: Often I wait until multiple are available and have them shipped as one shipping charge. Has this worked for you in the past? I have tried to buy my usual three sets (unc/proof/silver proof) but found that all three come from different warehouses. I know one of the proof sets always is shipped to me from Alabama (the other two I don't remember, but I think one comes from New York or New Jersey. As it stands now, I pay $5 three times for my three items.

There was a thread here posted the first week of January explaining the program.
I haven't paid for shipping on my last three orders and will be good for the year

I have only gotten one shipping charge when I bundle orders, even when shipped separately.

Quote: I haven't paid for shipping on my last three orders and will be good for the year Foxwoods Man how'd you manage to get free shipping on your first 3 orders of this year? As near as I can tell, only 2 products (Prf ASE and Prf ATB Quarters) that are enrollment products have been released so far. So, I can see how you might have gotten free shipping on 2 orders, but what was the 3rd one? I've been trying to figure out a way to order 3 enrollment products early in the year so that anything else I might order would get free shipping, but I haven't seen a way to do this.

Did't say "first three"...I said "last three". I have made seven Mint purchases in early January..most of those for 2017 products with the ASE PF's being the only 2018 issue. In checking, only my two (not three) most recent purchases (last week) had free shipping. Edit: I should also add that I purchase coins for my son and most of those 2017 products (except the Clarks) were at his request.

Quote: I've been trying to figure out a way to order 3 enrollment products early in the year Ahhhh...just actually absorbed what you said. The loyalty program is for ALL products not just enrollments. Enrollments are defaulted into free shipping but still count towards three.....ANY three orders Quote: Three Orders Per Year Place 3 orders in the calendar year to be eligible for free shipping. Qualification will be made when your order ships.
All Purchases Count All your orders (web, phone, or enrollment) count toward your minimum order total. Enrollment orders receive free budget shipping by default, but must ship before they count towards Loyalty Program qualification.
Free Budget Shipping Once you qualify for the United States Mint Loyalty Program, you'll automatically receive free budget shipping for all future orders within the continental United States that are placed in the same calendar year.
Restarts Yearly Total order count for program qualification restarts on January 1st each year.
