Here's one of my favorites from my collection, an 1851 Braided Hair Half Cent with a mintage of 147 thousand.

I also have an 1804 Draped Bust Half Cent (mintage 96 thousand) sitting in a box somewhere, though it's got what appears to be some PVC damage and I don't consider it as part of my "official" collection.

My lowest mintage coin would be a British (Maundy) 2 pence piece from 1831, which has a mintage of 4,752.

But since this thread is in a US Coin forum, I will have to go with a dime from 1888. Its mintage is 5,495,655, but it is still the lowest out of all my American coins.

1964D Jefferson nickel.
Not really sure what is my lowest mintage coin. I do have lots of 1916D Mercury dimes but those are not into small mintage. Possibly my 1915 Mercury dime is though.
I seriously looked sort of fast and still not sure what my lowest mint coin would be.

I guess my 1913 V nickel would be considered rare. Oops wait a minute and now looking more carefully at the date - it's a 1903. Still very rare at 28 million produced.
