CCF's own Chequer was named as 2018 Fellow of the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association (FRCNA) - a member service award noting the member "performed a worthy service judged to be of direct benefit to the Association and the hobby". Nominations are made by members. Also, the 2018 RCNA Presidential Award - "the RCNA President has the Prerogative to reward individuals or groups for outstanding support to our Association". I have met Chequer through my association with the Atlantic Provinces Numismatic Association APNA, he has resurrected the APNA with a great Newsletter and participation in multiple shows in Atlantic Canada.
