Can anybody give me a rough estimate of the grade for this coin? Thanks. Edited by hyprstorm 03/26/2020 12:43 pm

To do the coin justice, we'll need a photo of the reverse... to CCF....

I'll get better pictures tomorrow... these are pretty blurry and don't do the coin justice...

The marks on the face around the cheek and nose really hurt it.
Look forward to better pictures.

I'm leaning to EF40 the reverse is AU but for the common date it's priced as a bullion coin in the market, so no real price difference at all. Albeit, I'd much rather have pre 1933 US gold coins than any of the modern day bullion coins myself - as they will usually have a collectable premium to them.

I agree, the reverse looks a bit clearer and nicer than the obverse. Still looks beautiful and most assuredly is an EF.

I see slight wear on the high points of Liberty's hair, some obvious obverse contact marks, and lots of remaining luster on both sides. There might be a problem with damage around Liberty's upper lip. This might garner a "details" grade. Otherwise I'd peg this coin at AU-50 or AU-53.

This picture looks better... the coin looks closer to this in real life than the first picture.

@bobby131313 sorry, but the website wouldn't let me attach the picture regularly... I don't know if it was too big or if my wifi was lagging.
