I'm gonna say PCGS probably gave it an MS67FS

Probably MS-67 FS. Late die state with mushy letters and orange peel.

Looks like a good amount of Die Deterioration, LDS reverse for sure. Decent strike to get almost all those step in, eye appeal is 5/10 for me though. I wouldn't give this over MS-65, but PCGS probably went 67, possibly FS as well.

If I remember right,53-s is known for a mushy strike. I think they gave it a MS67 FS. Personally I say MS65.

I'm in the 66FS crowd and 67 would not shock me. I'm not a fan of LDS Jeffersons but there are others who are...

I'm in at MS65 FS and a 66FS won't surprise me, I don't think it makes a 67 IMO.
