Hi There,

I have this coin in question and at first glance it seemed like post mint damage in the obverse (front), but when I looked in the reverse (back), I saw some scuffing on the same location.

1. Possible Mint Error- Strike Through

2. Some One pinched the coin with plyers or some type of device that caused the damage.

What do you think ?

PSD. A strike-through should generally only affect one side of the coin. Your pliers theory seems plausible.
