This coin straight graded, and I am curious what you all think--if you all agree with PCGS on this one. The pictures don't show it, but the coin does exhibit traces of mint luster. Edited by Adam590 04/21/2021 06:39 am

I'll be at XF40 on this one, but I can see them calling this a one grade swing either way.

XF45. the high points of the devices (stars, date lettering) are closer to AU so some of the wear would be from strike. probably had a cleaning in its history but acceptable

Based on wear I am at 35, but with mint luster, I will bump to XF40.

I'd say XF-45 with some attractive toning after a remote cleaning.

I can see this being in a VF30/35 holder, but I think it's at least EF40/45 personally.

I feel the reverse knocks it down to a VF-35

Torn between XF40 and XF45, looks great and love the ring of color, quite the beauty

PCGS called this one EF(40). I like the coin, and am pleasantly surprised that several of you see it as EF(45). I wonder if this one could CAC for EF(40).

I'm at XF 40. Too many flat spots on both obverse and reverse to be AU. Still a very nice coin I would be proud to own.
