OK, I get the old trusty flashlight out an go to work, I grab several cents out in the open, I was like ok there might be something here, so I told myself, let's get down an dirty, long story short, under the drivers seat of this soon to be salvaged car this 1955 Lincoln Wheat cent appeared, my mouth dropped, is this a 1955 DDO, I THINK IT IS, WOW what a day we both got something out the deal, he received 100$ an got rid of a headache, I got this beautiful 1955, an now I'm here sharing it with the Community!!! Well it is not the big one. What attribution number do you think it is? I see no doubling.

Please look at varietyvista.com to see if this is one of the minor DDOs. It is not even close to the "big one." Worth little more than a normal Wheat cent. Sorry :(

Fun story but all you really got was a nice circulated 1955 Wheat cent. Worth about 5¢ maybe?

True - I was just trying to be nice to the OP....keep him enthused about coin collecting instead of just shooting him down

Given the photo posted, it doesn't appear to be 'The Big One'. The Big One is easily seen by the naked eye a few feet away.

Me too!
Just scraped an 04 Aztec and cut off the Cat Converter and got $300 for it alone.
