It's a genuine dealer. I was in Darwin last week and tried to get to his shop but ran out of time.

Any one care to educate this long time coin wheeler and dealer by sending him a polite message? Love to hear the feedback you receive.

Ugh!!!
Who would pay for that, like its been crushed by a front end loader. Looks that dealer called something "Bear" coins (So he is a bear like me, can't translate what being a "bear" is on this Family friendly site). He obviously loves all sorts of allegedly damaged and error coins and the rest of his wares were expensive ($25 for the $5 Sydney coins in credit card packs - we have a dealer here who can't get rid of them at $9.95 each).
A good laugh though and was happy to see Federation stuff gets big bucks, that 2001 album was a good buy!

Yuk! How could anyone think that is a genuine error? The seller has sold over 45000 items according to ebay stats so you could reasonably expect they have some idea about the coin they are trying to sell. I have always thought that particular seller's prices were too high and now I know for sure. Blacklisted as far as I am concerned.
