Hi, newbie here that inherited my grandpas pennies. I was curious if this looks like a small date over large date in regards to the "9" and "6". I'm still trying to differentiate m/d vs true doubling but there appears to be boldness and possible doubling to most of the obverse. Any help comments are appreciated, thanks.

I have no knowledge of an overdate for this issue. There does seem to be some evidence of Die Deterioration Doubling.

I agree, Die Deterioration.
Please, no screen shots, since they are so pixelated, they are of no help. Thanks.

Not DDD, but die wear on the tops of the devices. ( DDD is seen on the songle squeeze dies, where the devices are not affected, but the fields are. This is just die wear on the older dies that affects the outside edges of the devices, moving towards the rim direction)
The 1961 looked like that on all the cents that year. That is a master hub issue.
