That's a real beauty! Looks like there is some slight wear on the highest points of the leaves and on the eagle feathers. AU58 slider.

Thanks everyone. I've sent it to NGC as it is very reflective and I hope it makes MS. Either way I'm keeping it, the colour is stunning. Unsure if there is slight wear to the high points or it was a weak strike. As the lustre is very reflective I am inclined to say it is a weak strike but I shall update when I know the grade.

Love that toning! Please let us know what NGC determines. As for myself, I see wear, and call it an AU.

Certainly will do. There seems to be a 3 month wait at the moment at NGC, they are currently opening packages received from the week commencing 22nd Nov.

Wow thats a beauty I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better? |

Lovely toning and coin - but some obvious wear. This would be a high EF/low AU coin.
By the way 25 kopeks was known as a Polipoltnik to the Old Russians. A Poltina was 50 Kopeks and Poli meant half.
