Is this coin worth $50 in your ordinal opinion, and just a opinion, I know, I was going to pay 50 for it and thought I would ask some knowledgeable people if they would pay $50 for it yourself thank you

If it is silver that's a good price. Here is the closest I could find on the bay to give you an idea on value. The ebay one is not silver and shows a date. When a date is shown it adds value. If a coin is silver, that adds value, but yours does not show a date which takes away value.https://www.ebay.com/itm/363693268865

Interesting. A couple end-on pics of the rim (taken at different points along the rim) would be fun to see.

Agree, if it's silver the price is appealing.

I have a question about the striking of this coin.

The reeding is formed during the strike when the planchet is held in place by the collar.
Why is there portions of the reeding showing up above the "B E" of liberty. It seems to me that for this item, that is no where near wher the collar should be..

Could be a collar clash. Off-Center w/ collar clashes can look a little strange: http://goccf.com/t/358336

Not something that would make me question authenticity.
