Thanks for the info. I have a few more that are similar from the same new roll I got. I will provide those images also. Maybe they will be easier to determine if damage or finning.

No premium for a folded Rim Fin but if you find one that is not folded, then you have a winner.

Appears to be a legit fold-over. Has a rougher texture, given that the coin was found very early in its life--next to no circulation wear. I'd keep it in a 2x2 as an interesting example.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Quick question, how would I know if I have one that doesn't have a folded over time? One of the quarters has more of a lip on the rim that might not be as folded or not folded over. Thanks again.

What does the outer edge look like. If the reeds are flattened like in a dryer, that might explain what happened to the coin after the strike?

No issues with ridges. They do not look flat smashed/damaged.
