Pictures are hard to make out the details. Where is it specifically you believe you are seeing doubling? Also, for an immediate answer when you think you may have a doubled die or an RPM, you can check it for yourself using the pictures at varietyvista.com or coppercoins.com. If it is not at those sites, then it will (99.9% of the time unless from a recently minted date) be Machine Doubling, Die Deterioration Doubling, etc.

Note on your last image. See how it appears that the devices are enlarged? Well what you are seeing there is a slight amount of grease on the die on that strike. The slight amount of grease makes the devices appear wider, but they are not enlarged (hub doubled). Die polishing will reduce the size of the devices, because the bottoms of the devices, field area was ground down making the devices looking smaller. CoopHome: What is the difference between Grease Fill on a die and die polishing? grease widens devices, polishing reduces the side of the devices

Variety Vista only show one DDR for the year/mint: http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20...4DDDR001.htmBut it is pretty minor. When looking at the images of the site, always read the Description first. Most of the images are showing a normal set of devices, except the minor DDR affected areas. There was a Grease Fill issue also on their example also. But only hub doubling counts.

@coop Thanks for sharing that link. Pics provided there show how it would be really hard to see the doubling, if at all, esp without proper viewing equipment. From the newbie perspective it reminds me of DDD, but still learning. I just happened to be comparing DDD and doubled dies like that one and ran across your post. Thanks for sharing.

thats interesting so it fell off after the mint how does that happen and so anything after the strike does not count as collectible not really anyway
