Hello again I ran into this 1939 Wheat penny that weighs I'm at 2.8 grams but can't seem to find any information on it has any one heard or know anything about this Penny.Yhe Penny itself has a lot of damage none the less I've never heard anything about this Cent...

Pennies from that era have a 0.13 tolerance, have you calibrated your scale recently?

Pennies from this era have a Weight Tolerance from 2.98 to 3.24g. So yours is just slightly lighter.

I agree, this coin is chemically altered/damaged and therefore lighter.
