Starting around the 1 in the date and affecting the coin all the way across TRUST. My gut said PMD but it is a mint state coin and I don't see any displaced metal. The 1 is a lot smaller than normal - a consequence of the anomaly? The strike is very soft, it produced a beautiful coin with frosted fields ! Perhaps the right side of the die was obstructed with very thick debris? There is corresponding weakness in the right wheat stalk. What do you think? Filled die? Struck through?

Appears to be a slightly tapered planchet. Weight should answer that fairly easily. If so likely would come in around 3.0g.

I agree with @tb on this one: most likely a tapered planchet.

I'll toss in the possibility that it's an Over Polished Die strike. The heavy shadow behind Lincoln's head, weak features of his nose, hairline, vest and throat makes me wonder if the die was damaged in some way. It may have been a strong Misaligned Die Clash was removed.

Weight will make a difference. If normal 3.11 is it probably a Struck Through Grease error. (Note the second 'T' in Trust) Partial fill on second '1'. If the weight is under weight, then it could be a tapered cent. But leaning towards a Grease Fill error.

Not seeing any weak wheat head on the right. Tapered plan would show there also. I'm in the Greaser camp, and maybe a glancing blow scraped some of the motto off.

How about a very slightly tilted die?
It looks like there's a remnant of the proto rim on the obverse from about K2 to K5, plus there's symmetrical strike weakness on the obverse and reverse.

I found this in a roll two days ago and have been meaning to post it. The coin is very similar to the OP's coin, with weakness in pretty much the same places and other than the last digit of the date, pretty much looking the same. In hand, I still put this as a mildly tapered planchet, just enough to create some weakness in the detail but not enough to rob the rims of much (the OP's coin shows some rim loss). This coin weighs 3.04g, which is still within tolerance but likely underweight due to the tapering than just random variance. In practice, I would not have pulled this coin as not enough going on. All that said, it honestly shows plenty of signs for a normal Struck Through Grease coin so while I am calling it tapered I am not terribly confident in that. 1955-S Lincoln Wheat cent - mildly tapered planchet
